What hasn’t changed:

We’ll be once again supporting Team Diabetes Destroyers and ‘Captain Sammy’ who’s dream is to become the first commercial airline pilot in the USA with Type 1 Diabetes.

T1D is a chronic autoimmune disease that strikes both adults and children suddenly.

It has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle and there is currently no cure.

If you have T1D, you cannot be a professional pilot in the USA. People with T1D in Canada and the UK can fly commercially and enter the United States so why can’t people with T1D in the USA do the same? Well we’re aslo looking to change that!

Please make a donation even if you can’t attend the event! No amount is too little and every donation makes a difference.

And if you are planning to attend the event feel free to donate more than needed!
